SUM 41 - Mainstage, Den Bosch | 2024

October 21, 2024 – SUM 41 is currently on their farewell tour, entitled ‘Tour of the Setting Sum’. Their last show on Dutch soil is in Den Bosch. Sum 41’s debut album All Killer No Filler was released in 2001. The first single from that album, “Fat Lip” immediately became a huge hit and with that the name of the quintet was immediately made. With, among others, successors “In Too Deep”, and “Still Waiting” from the album “Does This Look Infected?”, the band laid a solid foundation for a successful career.

Sum 41 can never be pigeonholed and that is also the last thing they try. Instead, they put themselves on the map with authentic pop punk sing-alongs with a heavy metal edge, which resulted in a prominent place in the pop culture of the 2000s. The band could be heard in gigantic franchise films such as Spider-Man, American Pie and Bring It On. With over 15 million records sold worldwide, a Grammy Award nomination, two Juno Awards (7 nominations), a Kerrang! Award in 2002, and multiple Alternative Press Music Awards, Sum 41 remains the rock band they always were – uncompromising, humorous, and honest.
