Monday, June 22, 2026 – There are few better settings for an open-air concert than Tilburg’s Spoorpark, a reclaimed rail yard transformed into an urban green oasis of boardwalks, ponds, and art installations. Doors opened at 5 PM, giving the crowd hours to soak up the atmosphere before the main event. As the golden hour light hit the water and the trees, the stage was set for something special. Support came from Son Mieux and Orange Skyline, both warming up a crowd that was clearly in a celebratory mood. Duran Duran hit the stage at 9:20 PM and played until 11 o’clock, a tight and well-paced 100-minute set that left little room for complaint.
Simon Le Bon’s voice held up admirably across a career-spanning setlist, and the band, still built around the chemistry of Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, and John Taylor, delivered with the kind of confident ease that only comes from four decades on the road. The synth-driven grooves of “Rio” and “Hungry Like the Wolf” sent the Spoorpark crowd into a frenzy, while “Save a Prayer” offered a moment of genuine warmth under the open sky. “The Reflex” and “Notorious” rounded out a set that balanced nostalgia with stagecraft.
Tilburg’s Spoorzone, with its industrial cool and proximity to the central station, proved a natural home for the kind of sleek, style-conscious spectacle Duran Duran have always delivered. This was their first time in Tilburg, and they made it count.
A night that felt effortless, because the best rock music always does.
