APOCALYPTICA – 013, Tilburg | 2024

September 27, 2024 – In 1996, Finnish metal band Apocalyptica made their breakthrough with their successful debut album ‘Plays Metallica by Four Cellos’. Now, many years later, they are ready to shine with brand new music.

The unique line-up of Apocalyptica, consisting of classically trained cellists Eicca Toppinen, Paavo Lötjönen and Perttu Kivilaakso, together with jazz drummer Mikko Sirén, has pushed the boundaries of the metal genre. From their humble beginnings as a classical-style Metallica tribute band to embracing a neoclassical metal without guitars and bass, the band has left a mark on the music scene. This fall, fans can look forward to a headline show of Apocalyptica in 013 again after almost 15 years!
