Pestilence | Testimony Of The Ancients (full album)

Friday again! Time for a good oldie to celebrate the weekend. This time with the complete album ‘Testimony of the Ancients’ from the Dutch death metal band Pestilence. This was the third album from Pestilence, released in 1991 by Roadrunner Records and was the worldwide breakthrough of the band.

Pestilence was founded in 1986 as a thrash metal band. In 1989, the band released their second album ‘Consuming Impulse’ and made their musical move to death metal. They are known for incorporating jazz and fusion elements into their music. After disbanding in 1994, Pestilence reunited in 2008, and as of July 2014, the band is now on a “permanent hold”.
