January 13, 2026 | Slaughter to Prevail delivered an absolutely crushing performance at 013 in Tilburg, proving once again why they are one of the most dominant forces in modern deathcore. From the moment the band took the stage, the atmosphere was intense, aggressive, and relentlessly energetic. Pictures by Bianca van Barneveld
Frontman Alex Terrible commanded the crowd with ease, his signature guttural vocals sounding just as brutal live as on record. His stage presence was intimidating and charismatic, pushing the audience into near-constant movement. The pit erupted early and never really calmed down, fueled by massive breakdowns and thunderous rhythms.

Musically, the band was razor-tight. The guitars were heavy and precise, the bass thick and punishing, and the drums absolutely ferocious, delivering blast beats and grooves with machine-like precision. Tracks like Demolisher and Baba Yaga hit especially hard, drawing huge reactions from the crowd and turning the venue into a wall of noise and chaos.

The sound at 013 was well-balanced despite the sheer heaviness of the band. Every element cut through clearly, allowing both the technicality and brutality of Slaughter to Prevail’s music to shine. The lighting and stage setup added to the dark, menacing atmosphere, perfectly matching the band’s aesthetic.
Overall, Slaughter to Prevail’s show in Tilburg was an uncompromising and powerful experience. It was loud, violent, and exhilarating—exactly what fans of extreme metal came for. The band left no doubt that they are a must-see live act and one of the heaviest bands touring today.
