November 20, 2024 – With his very distinctive voice and impressive resume, Myles Kennedy is perhaps one of the most iconic (and extremely kind-hearted) vocalists in the current rock world. The versatile singer and songwriter is best known as the frontman and rhythm guitarist of Alter Bridge and for his numerous collaborations with Guns N’ Roses legend Slash.
In 2018, Myles’ long-awaited solo debut ‘Year of the Tiger’ was finally released, which he had been working on for ten years (!). After the success of his previous and second album, ‘The Ides of March’, he entered the studio with his producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette in 2023 to record ‘The Art of Letting Go’. This upcoming album has a more cohesive and compact sound, less emphasis on acoustic elements and more on a powerful rock sound.
The support this evening was provided by Cardinal Black! The Welsh rock band led by star guitarist Chris Buck calls itself ‘the oldest new band in the world’ and brought their alt-rock to Tilburg this evening.
