January 29, 2025 – the Dropkick Murphys electrified the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam with a performance that was nothing short of exhilarating. From the moment they took the stage, the energy was palpable, setting the tone for an unforgettable night.

The band launched into their set with “Captain Kelly’s Kitchen,” immediately igniting the crowd’s enthusiasm. The momentum continued with fan favorites like “The Boys Are Back” and “Prisoner’s Song,” each song fueling the audience’s fervor. The setlist was a well-curated mix of classics and newer tracks, ensuring that both longtime fans and newcomers were thoroughly engaged.

A standout moment was their rendition of “Curse of a Fallen Soul,” which began as a soulful ballad before transforming into a high-octane anthem, showcasing the band’s dynamic range. Another highlight was their cover of AC/DC’s “It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock ‘n’ Roll),” a tribute that resonated powerfully with the audience.

Frontman Ken Casey’s interaction with the crowd was a testament to the band’s genuine connection with their fans. He frequently stepped onto a small platform at the front of the stage, offering fist bumps and engaging directly with concertgoers. This rapport fostered an atmosphere of mutual respect and enthusiasm, enhancing the overall concert experience.

The audience’s energy was equally infectious. Mosh pits erupted near the barricades, while the rest of the venue was a sea of bouncing fans, jumping and occasionally showering beer in celebration.
