theNAME – Unchained (album review) ★★★★☆

This week we received the new album ‘Unchained’ by the femal fronted groove metal band theNAME. So it’s time for a short review of the album.

TheName’ delivered a great album! The sound of the band is totally perfect and the female vocals are nice to listen to in combination with the heavy music. The band sounds on this release strong on both musical and vocal area. The entire album is very well mixed and offers plenty of variety.

To discover your personal highlights on this record, all fans of this genre should listen to this record once! Also not fans of female fronted metal would have to agree to it, because it’s not an opera siren who sings the whole thing together, but a lady with balls and a very raw sound! People who like progressive female fronted metal, should definitely listen to ‘Unchained’ from ‘theNAME’.
